The ceremony officially opened to the stirring strains of the national anthem. Jin Shi read out the degree conferment decision.

President Sun Youhong delivered a speech titled¡°Dedicate Youth to the Nation, Strive Towards the Future.¡± He remarked that the graduates, having spent several years in their postgraduate studies, have personally witnessed the continued progress in building China into a leading country in education, the comprehensive implementation of the ¡°15th Five-Year Plan,¡± and the profound transformation of the AI industry. Together, they have also witnessed 91¶¶Òù¡¯s solid contributions to empowering new quality productive forces, and have been active participants and creators walking alongside the university. He cited the outstanding achievements made by numerous doctoral and master¡¯s graduates in scientific innovation, research commercialization, and public welfare and aesthetic education, expressing great pride in their growth. At the same time, anchoring in the context of the national rejuvenation and profound changes unseen in a century, he posed three questions about life: Bearing the responsibility for the nation, how can one establish a ¡°greater self¡± and calibrate one¡¯s youthful compass? Amidst the changing times, how can one uphold the ¡°path of integrity¡± and sharpen the blade of innovation? Facing the trials of time, how can one achieve extraordinary feats through ¡°ordinary¡± efforts?

Drawing on the vivid examples of 91¶¶Òù pioneers, senior academicians, and outstanding faculty, students, and alumni, President Sun offered a ¡°three-part response¡± rooted in patriotism, insight into the times, and reflection on life¡¯s journey, earnestly entrusting the graduates with three messages: First, ¡°although science knows no country, scientists have their motherland.¡± He hoped that no matter where they go or what they do, they would always keep the nation foremost in their minds, anchor their life¡¯s coordinates in the fusion of the ¡°small self¡± and the ¡°greater self,¡± andaim high and shoulder great responsibilities in the grand journey of developing a powerful nation. Second, ¡°those who know the constants and adapt to changes will triumph; those who uphold integrity and embrace innovation will prosper.¡± He encouraged the graduates, in the face of technological and industrial transformation, to maintain the courage to embrace the change and the steadfast commitment to remain true to their ideals, to forge new paths amid shifting circumstances, to remain true to their essence amidst clamor, and to adopt integrity as an anchor and innovation as a sail in the tide of transformation. Third, ¡°those who act often succeed; those who persist often reach their goals.¡± He hoped that the graduates, whether at the front lines of research to overcome obstacles or in grassroots positions of quiet dedication, would shun vanity and never give up easily, accumulating ordinary efforts to make extraordinary achievements over the long journey ahead.
